Evolution X knocking from front? Bilstein Damper Rebuilds

Mitsubishi Evolution X Bilstein Damper Rebuilds

We are pleased to offer a drive-in, drive-out service on Bilstein Dampers for the Mitsubishi Evolution X. These units are known to suffer from a very common bearing failure, whereby an audible knocking sound becomes apparent when driving.

To solve this issue, we now have a stock of dampers rebuilt by Bilstein, ready to be fitted same day to your Evolution. This allows owners to stick with their OEM suspension in a cost effective manner.

These units are rebuilt for Auto Torque by Bilstein UK using the following process;

Insert removed from body and bench dyno tested. Gas and Oil replenished as necessary.

A revised twin uprated bearing is then installed to overcome the wear found on the single original bearing.

A thicker grease is used in reassembly to prolong life and prevent failure in the future.

A pair of fully rebuilt front dampers including installation and alignment are only £448+vat

Options for rears and full sets are available.
