I have an F80 M3 and a 340MR evo 8 - Not quite the same as you are talking about but not far off. I would find it hard to choose too tbh as they are both great in my view.
I wouldn't lose the Evo but at some point, prob will lose the m3 so that maybe is an answer..........

I'll soon have my 450bhp X RS up sale if you fancy owning a proper driver's car ;-)
I already have 2 proper Evos!

440 is off the list now. BMW it has to be.

Whenever a X RS is mentioned I always recall that pic of you utterly broadside in yours!
How you kept it going the right way is still a wonder.

I had some fun in that car

They actually have a great chassis and for your normal fast road odd track day car are a great car ( I was getting my fishing rod out above ) as with a lot of Evos the parts are very expensive if you have issues plus tuning the XRS is very costly and Iíve read lots of horror stories about tuned ones, they do need at least 500 bhp to be a very capable car imo

Saying that I was at Spa this year and was all over a 550 bhp XRS with a very handy driver in my M3

Well at least you admitted you were simply making the comment for effect rather than actually believing it.

The point about the X RS over all other X models is that it's lighter and (slightly dependent on driving taste) has a non-AYC diff.

My car is one that you owned many years ago, but it's now a very different car, and completely sorted, and I defy anyone to be able to demonstrate that there's a better one out there :-)

Better Evo or XRS Phil ??

If there’s a XRS better than this I’d be very surprised even more so if it was yours ( no disrespect intended )
