Dropped car off for tyres, service and general check over since its long sleep over xmas.

Started OK and drove well but we have fingers crossed.

Painted the Evo 6 rear bumper and front wings again. Will get them done professionally next winter but just needed to get them on and to have them the same colour as the car. Just the side skirts and mad mac rear arches to fit then bleed the brakes and it’s ready. I also have a bootlid to fit without garnish lights but currently I’m classed as a critical worker so getting time off is tricky at present.

I will be having it set up as soon as I can (cars not on the road) and chopping the rear arches when it’s moved to my new garage. I’m going to be going 17x9 with a 255 tyre. I have had to pull my finger out as I’ve just bought a new house and the car wasn’t mobile after it’s winter refresh. I’m only moving 1 street say about 20 doors away so as long as I can drive it there happy days. At one bit it looked like I was going to have to drive it completely bare. Seems stupid putting it on the trailer for such a short trip.

I’m currently searching for some new bits to up the power a little bit if that’s gets done this year is another story with what’s happening with Coronavirus. I’ve still got spa booked in November so I’m keeping my fingers crossed

The V is about as clean as I can get it. I've even polished the polish and waxed the wax. Stay safe everyone.👍🙏👍

While I'm on with swapping my Evo 6 engine to an 8MR engine I'm in two minds to delete the air con or not .I found out only when I unattached the air con pump that the green power connector wasnt actually plugged in.

Did all the NCT/MOT prep work recently :
Legal number plates on
Blue LED parking lights and number plate lights swapped over to halogen .
LED front fogs and High beam swapped back to halogen .
CAT fitted .
fuel treatment added .
I fitted a New battery as old died with lack of use /attention .
Non pops n bangs map on .
AYC pump rebuilt and fitted/bled
Rear drivers side caliper replaced and gave it quick spruce up with laquer ..painting later option .
Now probably sitting up again as testing cancelled it seems,no tax since end of october anyway

With this time off i've been fitting all the bits i've bought over the winter.

After i fitted all those the boredom of not working has kicked in and i've found myself taking the car to bits to clean and paint everything thats looking old
