who's going to watch?
The three main parties are scared of them because they know full well that they have some very powerful views and will appeal to many folk who are fed up with the crap they see going on around them and who see the BNP as an opportunity for real change. They could be spouting the vilest views in the world (see the National Front) but the main parties would not give a toss if they did not see them as a threat. The fact that they care so much is an indicator as to just how much support they can potentially have.It seems slating the BNP is flavour of the month, every political flyer Ive had thru my door for the elections are harping on about how **** scared everyone is of the BNP gaining more seats, when in reality they see it as a meal ticket to win back support by going on about how evil they are.

e.g. there are even special laws now for black people being stabbed. You get a longer sentence if its racially motivated. Stab a white bloke and its just one of those things. To me both crimes would carry equal penalties.
If you look at cases, e.g. the girls aloud member who attacked a "black" bog attendent the main issue was whether it was a racial attack. She was cleared of that attack but convicted of the lesser common assault. My opinion is a slap in the face is a slap in the face, so what difference does the motivation make?they do.
