The pump was completely stripped, cleaned and inspected and with everything looking good I fitted a service kit that I got from Evolution Hydraulics with the stainless steel pump plate and stainless bolts.

The motor was checked over and new bearings were fitted.

With the solenoids tested and working well it was all cleaned down and painted, new seals fitted and rebuilt.

The pump was then tested and with it making 15bar and holding 13bar I'm quite happy with the results.

Happy with the pump making and maintaining pressure and not wanting to have to find or fix another one I covered it in salt water grease and wrapped it up in a roll of fresh Denso tape again in the hope that it'll keep it in good working order for many years to come.

The pump was then fitted to the mounting plate and fitted back onto the car along with the fluid tank and Hel braded lines, all I'm waiting on now is some new stainless jubilee clips to finish it off.

This is an absolutely ridiculously meticulous rebuild. I love it!
Massive congrats to how the car has been transformed and how it's come along. I can only imagine how short your fingers are now from sanding constantly haha.

So the car has come along well over the past couple of weeks with the new flywheel and clutch fitted, the gearbox went on and the engine was put back in.

Once the engine was in lots of other bits were installed like the new battery tray and battery, radiator hoses, Pas header tank etc etc

The ARC titanium strut brace was cleaned and refitted, I did think about getting an OEM one but I just like the ARC one too much so it was refitted.

The front drive shafts were fitted with new shaft seals and once they were in all the front brakes could be completed.

New HEl brake lines were fitted front and rear along with new PF Z pads and then the brakes were bled through.

While I had the brake bleeder out I bled the clutch system to and all are working fine.

A new oil cooler was fitted but I'm still waiting on the new supply and return hoses to arrive so I cant finish that off fully yet.

The A/C pipe that has the heat shield on was looking tired so it was sent away to Dave Cee for some TLC and once returned I fitted a new heat shield as it was a bit tatty to say the least.

To help stop it rattling around so much I secured it with some stainless cable ties.

New intake hoses arrived today so I fitted them up to the one that goes over the gearbox as I'm now waiting on new heater matrix hoses.

It seems that something is always holding me up at this point as everything I want to do needs something else completed before I can move onto the next bit and so on and so on, oh well I'll just have to wait until these bits arrive.

The titanium ARC exhaust system was cleaned up and refitted, all I need now is a new CAT and down pipe.

Iím probably going to end up with a 3Ē 100 cell cat and a new down pipe as I canít find a good condition oem exhaust so I may as well just get a full system on it
