Does this work for any evo with a rear O2 sensor or ONLY the 260?

The reason it's for the 260, is because it has a pre-CAT that when removed, will show a CEL, due to the rear O2 not seeing the correct emissions.
Do you have a rear O2 fitted?

I think the VII FQ300 has the same setup. It does have a rear O2

Not seen one on a VII I've look at, but it's not to say they were not installed.
No Pre-CAT on them anyway, so no need to disable really.

There is a rear O2 sensor after the CAT so if I remove the CAT I will get a cel light on. I think this was done as it was a UK car but not sure.

The rear O2 sensor is not for this purpose, it's actually in front of the CAT

I will have a look and see where the rear O2 sensor is. IIRC it is behind the CAT but will confirm this and post a picture hopefully. If it is in front of the CAT can I just leave it in and remap without the CEL light coming on or any other problems.

100% sure it not for the rear CAT on a VII
It will have no effect on the car if the CAT is removed, the 260 VIII is special
