After speaking to a couple people and lots of reading into things, i decided to delete my balance shaft.
As i read a couple times about people having oil pump wear using the stub shaft i went and had my oem oil pump shaft turned down on a lathe. Didnt want to pay the price for branded one, like £180 Odd!

Exedy twin plate all fixed, gearbox on. Lifted and ready to go.

This wasnt a nice job, had to Lift the car via engine crane, put the motor on a trolley and push it under. Slowly dropped down and all good

Here's a few pictures of the small details gone into this motor
Oil pressure teed off
Couple send offs for boost pressure sensor and map sensor (speed density going on)
Pcv capped off as running a catch tank
Turbo feed now drilled and tapped bigger with an4 feed
One of the stud holes drilled bigger as i have non undercut head stud
Oil feed made bigger to reduce lifter tick?

All the metalwork was stripped and painted with rust bullet and 2k satin black. Few shots of install
Bolts All dipped and plated.

Really nice to assemble, lots of copper slip to save my skin later on.Name: DSC_0058.jpeg

Isn’t making the oil feeds bigger going to drop the pressure? I bet it was a nightmare getting that engine back in!!
