evo10 2008 gsr fq360

hi guys and girls ill get straight to the point i carnt afford to maintain my evo 10 gsr fq360 in black so im looking to sell the car on here. its done just over 31k the car has been garaged since i owened the car and that over 5 years now ive done less than 3.5k in the 5 years the car i completely standard apart from the front splittler which i had to replace as the old one as the previouse 1 snapped coming out my garage onto the road also the font needs some some touch up wewre the old splitter broke it took some of the paint off . also i snapped the prop shaft about 1k ago and had that replace so spent neally 5k fixing that . all the work was done by rawlinsons and ive just had a sports cat fitted and a full service the car has a couple of dents were my dad dropped a ladder on it . the car has no tax or mot that run out at the end of the last summer .i will be selling the car cheaper as it needs work and needs to go to somebody that will be able to get the car back its former glory so bare that in mind i spoke to rawlinson and they think id need to spend about 2-3k to get the car back to good condition let me no if your interested and we can meet to look at the car thanks from luke

Not being smart but this is probably one of the worst ads I've ever seen, even more-so when asking £16k.

Where is the car located?

What work is required (the £3k you mentioned) ?

What month was the car first registered in 2008?

he car is working fine just some backlash in the rear diff I think its only small dents were my dad dropped a ladder on it and were the front splitter snapped coming out the garage. I carnt afford to maintain the car I brought the car from redline for 21k 5 years ago its only been used in the summer and its started every month and driven around the 1 way system were I live the put back on show charger to keep the battery working. I had a 600 pound service on the car but wasn't happy with the work done by rawlinsons as they had the car back but still didn't fix the noise off throttle there a rattleyou can here which they though was the cat so I had a sport cat put on but that didn't solve the issue so ive kind of given up I live in bury st Edmunds near cambridge suffolk more than happy to meet anybody to come look over the car . I would love keep it but I just don't have the money a car like this needs to maintain it.i would discuss a fair price for the car. ive lost so much money already so I haveto sell her p.s sorry about spelling ect

Considering I sold my 59 plate last September for 12.5k with coilovers (new) re-map to 388bhp, full stainless exhaust, full service history with receipts, lots of carbon bits and bobs, full year MOT, no dents and in mint condition, this seems bloody expensive.

Do yo have any pictures of the car and the damage ?

Also do you know if the car was first registered in the first half (1st Jan - 31st May) or 2008 or the second half (1st June - 31st Dec) - this is important to prospective Irish buyers as the VRT and motor tax will be calculated on this (early '08 annual tax is €710 (£640 gbp) whereas if the car is late '08 the annual tax is €2480 (£2,120 gbp)).

VRT (Vehicle Registration Tax is about €7k for early and €8k for late)

Not sure if this is directed at my comments?

I'm genuinely interested in the car.

The questions I asked are extremely relevant to me (and any other Irish buyer)

Our motor tax system was amended in 2008 and cars registered after 1st June 2008 are based on Co2 emissions and as a result of that an Evo 10 is taxed annually at £2k+. This is a very important detail.

As well as that, the VRT in Ireland is again based on Co2 emissions and can mean the difference of up to £1k in registration tax.

So (if it is my comments) they are not BS.

Further to this, a car with damage and requiring over £3k worth of work is overpriced at £16k ---- all of these are important factors for buyers.

Now if I was to say something like: "punctuation, paragraphs, capitalisation blah, blah, blah" they would be BS comments as they are not really relevant to the sale of the car.
