What’s your best achievement and most prized possession

Currently bathing my 2 year old twins!!

And they are both the most important things in my life and my best achievement!

I will admit they We’re not conceived naturally, and we went through hard times to get them and thankfully they are both here fit at well, it could have been a very different story!!

Outside of kids that will always (well should always) be everyone’s best achievement, and most important thing what is yours? If you say evo, what’s next in line!!

Mine outside of my kids achievement wise is doing what I think is living a decent life and doing what my grandad always wanted, was for his kids and grandkids to live a full life, provide for their families and be happy!!

My most prized possession, i have a few autographs etc that I do treasure but most likely my Lego collection!!

Great story, pleased for you now have the family you’ve worked hard for.

My most treasured possession is life and my greatest achievement is running my own business for 21 years and still going strong, best move I ever made

Most prized is the medal I got for coming top of my year at uni. Beyond that my collection of first edition (and mostly signed) Will Self novels, or my first edition illustrated "Uncle Tom's Cabin" that I found in a tiny second hand bookshop in Cambridge stuffed at the back of a shelf somewhere.

Best achievement - crashing my Evo into the back of a Nissan Micra ... Somehow I ended up chatting to the girl on Insta 6 months after the event and we are coming up to being in our 3rd year of dating. Technically we did meet by me smashing her back doors in

My prized possession is a 35+ year old Omega Constellation that was my Dads, was given to me the night he died by my uncle in the hospital. To me it is completely irreplaceable

No wife or kids to think about for me, my proudest achievements include getting my brown belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu from one of my favourite coaches, waiting for lockdown to be over as I’m due my black belt. It marks 8 years of training on average 2 hours a day, 5/6 days a week, apart from a month I spent in hospital 2 years ago.

I’m also very proud of the fact I’ve lived alone since I was 17 and managed to save a £25k deposit to buy a home with no help from anyone else.

This one struck a chord with me.

Much like the OP, my biggest achievement is my boy. He is 6 in August and everything I could've wished for in a son. Myself and soon to be ex wife (I'll come to that) went through and over every hurdle to have a child. We were in the last chance saloon with our second shot at IVF with single figure percentage chance of it working. Lucky for us it did.

Anyway, all those things pulled us together and for a short time we were as happy as we could be. However, she decided that the grass was greener.......and you can guess the rest. She moved 25 miles away with my son and destroyed the family life. But, my son has never skipped a beat and his life between his Mums and mine is what he knows and he is fine with it all. So, my greatest achievement is my gorgeous boy who loves his Dad, football and Daddys racing car - yes I managed to hang on to the evo.

For me, I've regained a life, set up home again, albeit on a smaller scale, but I'm happy. Achievement.

Now, is Jeremy Kyle still on in the mornings?? Cos my story is worthy of an overnight hotel stay

For me, outside of managing to stay married so far since 1987 and my son it would be that i left school at 16 with zero qualifications but luckily got an apprenticeship in the Printing industry and within that one International business ended up being the MD across Europe for 9 years till we unfortunately had to close the UK plant.
At one time it had over 500 people in it when i ran it. I also shut it without any industrial action or personal threat which in its own way, was an achievement in a heavily unionised and robust environment but one thats hard to be proud of given the sadness and impact on so many lives, my own included as i lost my job at the same time as everyone else......bit long winded - sorry.

Best achievement? Possibly achieving my RAF pilot's wings (with Credit), back in 1999? Something I'd wanted and single-mindedly worked towards since I was 12 years old... Bit cheesy, yeah.

Most Prized possession? Dunno - maybe the memories (and medals) accrued over the past 25 years, firstly being an Air Cadet, winning a flying scholarship, pishing about at University (a bit too much) but still getting a degree in Aeronautical Engineering, then finally over 23 years of marriage so far? If it had to be something physical, maybe the watch my Mrs bought me in '99, an Omega Speedmaster X-33 "Mars".
