Hi Matt.

I am moving to Lyon in September with my EVO. I have created a whatsapp group for French EVO owners, so far there are 5 of us in the group. If you are interested to join and you have whatsapp, please let me have your mobile phone number.

Also this invitation is open to Lolo who I have asked before.

I could try to arrange a meet for us in September.

Simon.

Yes, I've just finished a rebuild with some improvment. It took months because of serious heath problem and shipping/delivery problems.

It is now a 2.3L ( 4G64 Crankshaft and Manley I Beam 150mm Lightweight) with rebuilt head +1mm Ferrea competition valves, a HKS head gasket and ARP Custom age 625+ and large washers and some other secondary improvments or renewal.

I also bought a 8474TS IWG in order to keep a 650HP car but with decent boost and ignition advances. (on my 2 liters 7670, I had 2.4b/30 PSI and 15° with meth inj). It's not in the car yet.

Even in running in process, I have to upgrade again my fueling setup...

So I will change the fueling return lines, take out the Walbro and replace it with a Twin Aeromotive 320L/H pumps and also change my ID1300 to ID1700 injectors...

Hope you are over the bad health.

Be interesting to see how you get on with the 8474 IWG on a 2.3
I have a 8374IWG to go on what will be a 4G64 2.2

Are you logging back pressure and turbo speed at all?

Yes I do.

But my turbo speed sensor doesn't work any more. I put a new one and made some tests this afternoon but no sucess. I'm afraid the problem is in the amp or ecu connection.

We do monitore back pressure, but only during settings on the Dyno.

I don't want to push the 8474 TS IWG too much, it will kill the trans...My aim is 600/650hp @1,8Bar with 10° Advances. Conservative!

I had nearly 650 with the 7670 on a 2liters with stock head but @2,4bar boost with 15° Ignition Advances...not really conservative for track use...

We modified the lamdba a bit, and with 0,78 instead of 0,8, with 2,3 and +1mm valves, the 450l/H is not enough any more...Same problem with ID1300...too [email protected] instead of 2.4...we can see fuel pressure dropping on the logs

So, before changing Turbo, I'll have to put a twin pump system, change all the lines, put one or two PWR to drive the pumps and go to ID1700...
