I think you are mad selling the 5RS Paul. It is hands down my favourite car on here and if I can eventually get my 5RS to anywhere near as complete as this I'll be a very happy chappy.

What’s next? I know you have the IX RS but surely you’ll miss a decent power Evo in your stable?

Impulse buy

The essentials are;

-Monster Sport ECU 1.3 bar
-Fujitsubo exhaust,
-Upgraded elbow and downpipe
-Greddy IC inc hard pipe kit
- Laile intake pipe and airbox
-Apexi Coilovers with upgraded Swift Springs
- Recaro SPG on Bride Super low rails
-Laile Short Shifter

This lot with the short RS box makes for a lot of fun and Iím really enjoying it... some pictures of how it looks before I clean it up a bit

Clean up time for the latest 5rs.. Canít have a dirty bay lol. Usual clean and zink plating along with Aqua blasting where possible. New parts like aircon hose, expansion tank, PAS etc. Have to remove the inlet mani, not looking forward to that job...! Exhaust manifold hardware looks 20 years old too

Bumper and headlights removed so i can clean/inspect the slam panel, replace the bonnet lock as standard .... Looks like its had a new air con condenser which is a bonus, normally falling apart at this age an KM.

Overall this Grade 4 car in fantastic shape and well maintained over the years, extremely rare to find RS models in this condition.

If anyone wants/is doing a similar and has any questions Iím happy to help, Iím doing this in my garage at home with basic tools.

Must buy a new wiper motor

Mess! Hate these earthing kits!

More mess

Lovely Greddy Spec LS IC

Bilt Hamber S50 will be sprayed in there nicely

Just out of interest, did you manage to sell your other 5RS (which looks unreal in that picture!)and do you carry out restorations on customer cars?

Chris

Hi Chris, I did take a deposit but looks like it may fall through due to the buyers personal circumstances.

I normally just restore my own cars but feel free to Pm me and if I canít do what you have in mind I can advise you on who can
