The OP is obviously a plank. I dunno why youíre even bothering to argue with him.

Whatever answer you give him, itís wrong. Just leave him to it, he obviously knows more than you so give up and keep your sanity

No but seriously wtf is a multi-tool? To me it's one of those Gerber pen knife things with pliers... not something I'd try to remove a subframe with.

Exactly what a multitool is IMO too! As the name suggests, a tool with multiple uses. Blokeís higher than a Giraffeís fanny.

Is this a genuine wind up thread?

Literally ****ed myself all the way through, there is nothing to add at all without repeating what has already been said.

But this will keep me chuckling through these difficult times for a while

'If so it should be fine as aluminium doesn't rot or corrode'

No Ali corrosion issues here....

Eggs have to be broken to make a omelette, you're in cuckoo land if you haven't allowed for the odd lug on the sub-frames to be re-welded. I'm sure they could have spent hours taking the bolt out at your cost, but they'd probably need to cut the lug off to replace the thread in it anyway. In my experience 9 times out of 10 It's best to go in hard and sort it out than mess about and leave half the issue still there.

Any progress pics? I'd even settle for some more discussion on whether or not Aluminium corrodes . I just don't want this thread to die lol
