Ayc light - after pads/ discs fitted

Has anyone came across this before?

its not been on at all but got new pads and discs fitted on the front and now the AYC is on, but if i start the car and drive a bit and then off and on again it will go out.

it will randomly come back on again after a few miles of driving?

the cars a 96 E4

bit baffled by it?

Possibly something to do with the ABS sensors if you disturbed these when you fitted them. AYC relies on them for wheel speed. Can you blink test it and see what codes you have? (i'm making the assumption you can blink test a 4, i've only done it to an 8)

Fault Code should be stored , i also would be leaning towards ABS sensor getting disturbed or such ......Flash the codes to see and then disconnect battery for 20 seconds or so to clear codes
