4K curved TV

Evening all.

Iím not really in to watching a lot of TV, so I donít need some 25k OLED QLED whatever they are.. Iíve seen a Samsung 4K curved Tv for 500 which seems very reasonable to me? Iíve read the reviews and all are very positive.

I know curved is possibly a bit of a gimmick, however does anyone have any feedback?

Seems like a good deal. A good one makes even an old film look hd.

Wall mounter curved screen - looks crap!

Be careful of buying at this time of year, you may get fobbed of with a 2 "model year" old model !

FYI the model code details are, as an example

UE49XU7***WXYZ

X is the model year;
M = 2017
N = 2018
R = 2019

*** is probably 500

WXYZ is a weird country/region code

Next question

Not great reviews then! Are they ok on the wall if on a swivel bracket?

I would stick to a flat panel personally, curved ones look silly, especially if mounted on a wall.

Agree with others I thought about a curved one, saw one wall mounted at a mates and instantly put off.

Like I already said I would imagine reflections etc could be a nightmare.

Loads of deals out there so check out all of them, and always try go with one where manufacture or retailer does the 5 year warranty for peace of mind

To be fair itís quite a thing now isnít it.

Itís pretty cool they will go on a wall these days, but I do see your point .

So itís looking like the curved is a winner if not mounted on the wall
