Nevertheless, I still think a reading as high as 0.06mm is fairly unlikely on a 62k mileage X unless it's been driven very hard and/or on lots of very poor roads. Assuming you go ahead and have the hubs changed I'd be really interested to know the new runout readings.
Yeap we will measure for sure.

Roads in Athens aren't that great in general and as it is a weekend car it is driven hard.

Hi!

So I installed the new hubs (koyo).

Front left reading was 0,02 and right 0,03.

Also installed the combo pfc v3 and carbotech xp10.

Very satisfied but it's too early as I haven't bedded them in yet as I'm doing first disk bedding.

I have noticed that when I brake with 40% force from 80kph I get a droning/humming noise which stops when I drop to 60kph and release a bit brake pressure.

Is this normal as they aren't bedded in yet?

All sounds very positive. Surely the droning sound is created by the dimples or slots in the rotors, and is perfectly normal when braking from higher speeds.

Thanks!

Will this be reduced after bedding in?

It will be reduced when disk wears down and gone when you wear dimples/slots from disk complety

No. Are the discs slotted or dimpled? Out of PF dimpled or slotted (the dimpled version being designed primarily for road rather than track use), the dimpled will be quieter.

DBA 5000 T3 2 piece rotors with Winmax M119 pads on Brembos.
Goodridge braided lines and Motul (600? I think) fluid.
Plus some ducting taking air from front lower skirt into the back of the rotors, attached to a plate mounted through caliper bolts.
After 6 yrs I'm finally delighted with this setups for circuit/tarmac/hillclimbing
Bit noisy when cold and momentary delay on initial bite, but I can live with that.
Pedal feel and modulation seems to improve the hotter the brakes get too, which I love.
