Event Bookings, Cancellations and Refunds
Places at MLR Trackdays and Sprints (and other MLR events such as national shows and rolling road days) will only be confirmed on completion of a successful booking. These will be able to be made online via the MLR Shop or calling the MLR direct on 08451 25 26 23 with your credit card details.
All events will be for MLR members only. The only exception being trackdays and maybe sprints as we need other bookings to make the day financially viable.
A list of attendees will be shown on a separate sticky thread at the top the respective category on the Forum so everyone can see the numbers of places available, and who is attending. This list will be managed by the event coordinator.
Cancelled bookings cannot be swapped or sold on. If you have to cancel your trackday or sprint booking, please inform Darin or Mechell on 08451 25 26 23 or [email protected] / [email protected] so the place can be managed properly with any reserve list being given priority. Cancelled bookings will be treated in the following ways;
Informed Cancellation (Event Full):
If we are informed of the cancellation prior to the event which is fully booked and we're able to refill the place, 20% of the booking will be retained to cover admin and banking charges, and 80% of the booking fee will be carried forward to another event of your choice.
Informed Cancellation – 5 working days notice or more (Event Not Full):
If we are informed of the cancellation 5 working days or more prior to the event which is NOT fully booked and we're able to refill the place, 30% of the booking (or £50 whichever is greater) be retained to cover admin and banking charges, and the balance of the booking fee carried forward to another event of your choice. We ask for 5 working days notice so we’re able to give any reserves a fair amount of notice to enable them to get time off work etc.
Informed Cancellation – less than 5 working days notice (Event Not Full):
If we are informed of the cancellation less than 5 working days prior to the event which is NOT fully booked and are able to refill the place, 40% of the booking (or £50 whichever is greater) be retained to cover admin and banking charges, and the balance of the booking fee carried forward to another event of your choice.
If we are not informed of the cancellation prior to the event, the whole booking fee will be forfeited.
Event Tickets Cannot Be Refunded
Tickets can be transferred between individuals and it is up to those individuals to sort any payments/transfers etc. Only Evos being driven by club members will be allowed to park on the MLR stand at any event.
All deposits paid to secure a place at a trackday or sprint are non-refundable.
REALLOCATION / AMENDMENTS TO BOOKINGS:
The following guidelines will be followed when making changes/reallocating booked places:
MLR members will take priority in the reserve list regardless of where they are on the reserve list. However, you should still book as soon as possible to avoid this situation!
If you are unable to bring your Evo, or whichever car you booked in, you can bring a replacement regardless of make or model as long as it is eligible for MLR trackdays, ie: not a single seater. If you choose not to bring another car, we will carry forward a percentage of your booking depending on the notice given and whether there is a reserve list (see above for details).
The MLR Sprint Series rounds are for Evos only, unless otherwise stated. If you are unable to bring your Evo, please inform us at the earliest opportunity so someone else can take the place. We will carry forward a percentage of your booking depending on the notice given and whether there is a reserve list.
The MLR reserves the right to alter, amend, delete or withdraw the above rates at any time without prior notice.
