Link don't work.
Had similar issue with mine fitting in my battery tray as its not std. But just gave them measurements for the tray and got the biggest battery that would fit...
That battery will defo not fit my evo 6
My dimensions of the battery on the car are L-187mm//W-132mm/H-227mm includes the posts
That battery you have a link to is quite abit bigger
This is what I just fitted, Good powerful start but like all batteries I've had on all my Evo's if it's left for a week or more, it starts to get weak. My Evo is currently off the road but even in minus temps this battery still fires it up instantly and a 4 year warranty...
Dave, sorry to go off topic mate but did you get your AYC issue sorted out ? Was it indeed the steering sensor as we discussed ? PM me if you like
As for batterys, I was lucky. My E9 one died last month and I got one out of copart that was identical for a tenner ! and it works perfectly I think it was out of an imported celica that they are breaking.
why not go for the halfrauds fto battery. i would only recommend this is you have a trade card...if your in paisley area feel free to ask lol. its about 50 quid

The last three years I have changed the two battery.I visited many shops and i asked information which battery is good for evo6.Evo VI battery size is 130mm wide and the most powerful battery in this size is 48ah with pretty low 330 A which runs correctly max two years.Bosch and Varta is exactly the same batteries with different brand names. Now i bought 178mm wide regular Lancer battery tray and terminal and install bigger battery MOLL 62 Ah 510 A(EN) and the car runs properly in the cold weather.MOLL test winner of the current ADAC battery test- Said to be better than the Varta or Bosch.EXIDE battery had to be a lot of warranty problems and Banner battery liftetime is too short
Sorry to bring up an old thread - I was just wondering if anyone knew the part number for the bigger battery tray in the picture? Sick and tired of stupid small OEM battery!
Cheers thats great will go into Mitsubishi and check those numbers. Think they ve the number for the tray I already have on my evo 6. Think the bigger one came from a lancer just didn't know what year or part number as Mitsubishi will ask.
Think MR220531 is the right part number . 98-01 Lancer 1.3, also you need new battery terminals and upper clamp. I found in junkyard right terminals and clamp, 91 1.5 lancer
Yea it is.
Imported from Japan obviously, which increases the costs.
Part number is in the advert, can always phone the local dealer and see if they can source it.
