Just got back, cracking day and really enjoyed the track, just a shame about the afternoon weather and the guys who had off's. Thanks to Greenstar for the hot lap, that car is on another level

Wish you were there, Bull! If you so wanted to be there supporting the club then you would have spent a bit less on fancy diffs and the like and been up there competing.
I actually agree with your reasons for jacking, having the mindset and ambition to move on to some other form of real Motorsport.
You just got caught up with the bug of spending silly amounts of cash chasing tenths, which has ruined what the nature of the series was about and realised that the series-bang for buck-has got too big and costly for its own good.
Now if what iv'e been saying is being miserable, then some have their heads too far up ones ar-e to see it for them selves.

Getting a plastic trophy is pretty far down the list of my reasons for attending and from speaking to both Drue and Simon yesterday, i think their's as well.

Then again, you wouldn't know that as you weren't there.

I wasn't there mate and won't be at Teesside got a wedding to go to but I'll be at the last one might be in the m3 though as the evo not ready needs new break disc and a full check so it might stay in hibernation until next season

DaveG dropped me in Lancaster from Scotland, then I spent 3hours on foot trying to find a hotel or B&b only to find its graduation weekend here so I went to Morcome and found 1 b&b with 1 stinking tiny room without windows didn't sleep to good and the walked to for another 2 hours to the ferry terminal where I am now.

Car has been taken by the insurers , top service from them.

Not to bad after 3 years driving to events all over and it's the 1st time I've had failure/ accident that's stopped me from driving home

Turned out a good day on track here despite the low numbers and torrential rain in afternoon.
Well done to everyone who made it to Kames and massive thanks to the MLR crew for the time, money and effort in making this event happen, It's been good while it lasted

Personally I enjoy the challenge of this short twisty track and was trying to match last years times as my car hadn't changed. Also good to go up against the top cars in class B see how close could get to them. Think I done alright for turning up on road tyres just off a nightshift

Also glad Peelers ok, that was a nasty off you had man. Hope you get sorted out soon and home safe if you're not already.

Just to add that if everyone was bothered about trophies, (as some seem to make out) then a few folk could've jumped in C or D for the day to almost guarantee it as only 1 entrant in each

Anyway I'll miss this event in the MLRSS next year even though realise it's not viable for the club to do anymore so glad to have made this one.
Teeside's only other for me this year due to work commitments but still really enjoy this series, its easily still the best value for money

what a nightmare. the insurers did a good job then! pace ward?

I'm surprised I haven't had a big crash to be honest. it's bound to happen sometime. do you have roll cage in yours? I don't think you do?
