Winmax High Performance Brake Pad Group Buy

WINMAX CORP. is one of the leading performance and racing brake parts manufacturers in Japan, and has delivered a combination of racing passion and meticulous engineering for decades.

Used by top motorsport teams in road racing, rally racing, gymkhana, autocross, and time trials, Winmax brake pads have been rigorously tested in competitive racing environments throughout the world.
In fact, Winmax was producing the brake pads for the Japanese manufacturer’s performance divisions, amongst which included RALLIART and are currently used by today’s premier motorsport teams such as Hyundai WRC.

In 2013 WINMAX decided to break out of its local Japanese market and the pads are now available in the UK.

WINMAX pads distinguish themselves by offering amazing performance, but without a cloud of dust that bakes into your alloys.

They also pride themselves on having a much longer lifecycle so they offer easy maintenance with tremendous performance and therefore fantastic value for money
.

Compounds:

There are also 3 compounds available:
  • W2 (Fast Road) - Improved initial response for sportive driving with longer pad and disc life
  • W3 (Occasional Track) - Blended for sport driving or circuit racing, the W3 is the most versatile brake pad available
  • W5 (Extensive Track) – Track Day / Circuit Racing

The Group Buy & MLR Member Prices:

Exclusively for the MLR, WINMAX is offering a 15% discount for a group buy based on 5 or more orders – please see the table below for MLR member pricing.

Delivery within the UK mainland is £6 per set. Winmax will supply delivery prices outside of UK on request so please ask on this thread.

Winmax make pads for other caliper fitments too, so please ask if you have a query for your set up and I will ask if they can supply and the price.

Sounds interesting, Darin.

I've been running Winmax's for quite a while now and they're still brilliant.

Wrote something about them a year or so ago, I think. https://www.lancerregister.com/showthread.php?t=503543

I can only recommend them.

Unfortunately, I can't benefit from the group buy. Mine haven't worn fast enough

Assume that you already have Braided Lines fitted then? (Makes the pedal feel a lot more like that)

I exactly found the "feel" in the pedal a great improvement when fitting mine. It's as if your big toe can feel the discs.

And I have the Braided hoses fitted. These pads just give much more feedback than any of the other ones I tried.

On W3 or W5, normally, I'd always go for the more aggressive compound.

The downside of the W7's I fitted, is that they are overkill: feel is brilliant, they work really well, even when cold... but the are LOUD !
And when I say LOUD, I mean a-socially loud.

If you like driving really hard, I'd dare to go with a W5. If it's your everyday car, go for W3.

I am generally very critical, but these things seem to work well.

Clearly, Ralliart didn't use them by accident in the past.

Just saw on their Facebook page that Sébastien Loeb tested a series of brakepads and decided to go with Winmax's for his rallies.

(Ambitious guy. He aims to win the Rally of the Var with a 306 Maxi!)
