Evo 8 MR FQ320

Hi guys, newbie to site would
Like to share my low millage MR FQ320
Brought it 10 years ago and I left it in a field
Anyways couple long stories, got the car back and And gave it a full
Respray, then decided to get it on the rollers, unfortunately
It melted a rod on cylinder 4 so know I’m in process of rebuilding my engine.
Engine is almost built will be back in the car in next week or so

Engine
2.0 longrod from ross sport
1400 hd wiseco pistons
Oliver I beam rods
Brigeway solid billet crank
New acl bearing
New oil pump
Hks head gasket
Supertech double valve springs
Titanium retainers
Supertech 1+mm inlet and exhaust valves
L19 head studs
Fully ported polished/6 angle seats
Jmf inlet manifold drag version
Boomba 75mm TB
I’d 1050 injectors
Gt35 ams turbo kit
Big hks intercooler
Mishmoto rad
Spark tech coil pack
Hks fuel rail
Sard fuel pressure regulator
282 cams inlet and exhaust


Gearbox has been rebuilt and had a freshen up
Exedy twin plate clutch

Wheels/brakes
Volks ce28 alloy wheels
Band new Bridgestone protenza tyres
Alcon big brake kit front and rear

Interior
Standard interior alcantara half leather (red/black)
Carbon dash insert
Defi gauges x6

Suspension
Tein electronic suspension

Haltech ecu

It’s a genuine 11k mile car, when it was on rollers it made 534hp before it
Went pop.. engine is almost built and can’t wait to go again

Unfortunately Yea mate, it was in a barn but run out space to put couple other cars in.
So that went outside.. i won’t be using the car much tbh.
It’s now Immaculate and low millage

Try using the image attachment function, but first of all make sure the pics no wider than 640px as they are restrictions in place on here

Looks lovely after the respray. If it's sat in a field and barely moved though surely it's going to have left some scars?

How long was it in a field? Surely underneath and box sections suffered?

Looks clean up top mate , why did it melt a rod first time round?
