gt3076r or tt s205b

Hi guys,

Im running the hks7460 at the mo and running mid-high 400's. As awesome as the quick spool is, i fancy something thats going to pull hard the whole way through the rev range as i feel the hks tails off a bit.

Im only on a rodjobbed engine so dont want to aim to high so i feel a good solid 500-530hp would be perfect. Ive narrowed it down to either the gt3076r or the s205b. What is peoples opinions on these turbos? What is other people running for 500hp?

I understand ill be hitting full boost at 3800 with the s205b, but what would the gt30 be hitting it at? If anyone has any graphs also i would be very interested in a look . The car is mainly a road car with the occasional track day and would also like to do the 30-130.

Inputs please , if any tuners would care to comment also i would be very appreciative

Well had the fp green which broke so I went with the 214b same as the 205b but with cut back blades awesome turbo! So 205b would get my vote

Thanks matey

The good thing about sticking with stockframe as well is the hassle it would save me with sourcing a new manifold, ext wastegate etc as well

its same turbo really just has cutback blades designed to work better with strokered engines and comes with billet wheel upgrade which you can get for s205 ones now

Full boost at 3200
3076 works well on both 2.3 stroker or 2.0

Hmmm, well thanks a bunch mate youve just made my choice more difficult

That sounds like it could be an option. ive just told my nanna to hurry up and kick the bucket so i can afford to go 2.3. Its a good thing she understands my humour
