Ah I see, that makes sense. I just connect my charger when itís sitting and take it off when I drive it.

Will you go to any shows in this or just enjoy it for your own pleasure? Iím sure a lot of people would want to see this after itís done.

Yes so do I but I don't like the clamps so I use the hardwire option with the plug.

For sure I'm going to enjoy driving it and take it to shows if I can, it will not be going in a garage never to be driven again

If you're crafty you can hide the CTEK wires, mine has the positive going to the fusebox right next to the battery and the earth going to one of the inner wing bolts. Works fine for me and you can't tell it's there. You can send the battery charger lead up through the passenger wheel arch liner/bumper gap too so it doesn't interfere with the car cover

Yeah Iím sure you can do something like that, I normally just run the cable from under the car

I would genuinely struggle driving that because it is so nice, the thought of stone chips is making me sick !

Fantastic job Paul, the amount of brand new genuine parts alone on this build is outstanding, well done and enjoy it.

Thank you. Not worried about stone chips at all. The exterior panels will have PPF, the wheel well impact areas have stone chip protection and black paint so they can easily be repaired, the floor pan will be ceramic coated and shouldn’t really get affected.

What does worry me is dirt getting into places I can’t get to and may have to jet wash it
