Cool 200BHP Lancer Di-D

I decided on a remap on my Mitsubishi Lancer Saloon Di-D 140bhp 310Nm torque standard. Ecotune estimated an increase upto 180bhp and around 380Nm of torque but they got it to 200bhp and 420Nm torque (wheelspins in 3rd in the wet) incredible power increase from before, the thing goes like **** off a shovel! not bad gains from a stage 1 remap! And ive had it as high as 55mpg on motorways before I reminded myself I had the extra power and floored it

**PROBLEM**

Well after about 5 weeks the problems have started and this is why i was reluctant to remap this in the first place. At around 2500rpm the car seems to loss power, the revs bounce slightly down to about 2250rpm then go up very slowly. The engine makes the noise as if im pumping the accelerator although my foot is flat down. Its feels like the engine is trying to go but theres a fraction of the power and it doesnt have that throw back feeling that i had before (420nm of torque should be very noticeable) This is especially noticeable from 4th gear upto 6th. Anybody know what this issue could be?

if not a boost pipe check the boost solenoid or the pressure sensor

I took the car to the remap place today but the fault wasn't occurring, typical! The guy said it could be the turbo vanes or the EGR valve sticking....

Yep I'm currently going through the exact same problem as we speak. Goes into limp mode often (use to be just from start up, but happens on motorways) now have a chip reader in constantly now to clear faults as I drive from North Wales to Plymouth. Max rpm 2500, slightly lower and has the same deep noise when you press the accelerator. Fault codes suggested boost pressure sensor faulty, replaced it and it's not better. Changing the turbo for a new one next week along with boost valve, it's a massive pain in the arse. Let me know how you get on with yours.

Check all induction hoses, sometimes they can suck flat due to the increased demand.

Egr valve should have been mapped out, had similar thing on my mapped 1.9cdti. To fix it i removed swirls flaps and got inlet cleaned and welded and cleaned the map sensor.

At 200bhp, you might be maxing out the injectors? If not, the turbo most likely will be.

Something like this: http://www.hybridturbos.com/shop/vol...2-0tdi-140bhp/ ??

After having the EGR valve blocked off and the problem persisting I phoned the place to get the car booked in and clear these turbo vanes but i was told that it would take at least a week for this procedure to be done. I sourced a local garage and explained the issue to The mechanic hoping for a speedy fix. He said he had never heard of this problem in his 25 years experience but plugged the computer in anyway and came up with a fault on the turbo temperature sensor which was delete. The problem seems to have gone.

Hey pal hope you're well. Who did your remap to get it to 200bhp because that's a great increase from a standard 140bhp mitsi di-d. What other mods did you do (if you did any)
