This is a good example of how opinions are divided on these cars and why I stated in an earlier post that they are worth whatever someone is prepared to pay for ownership.

The 1 being sold by Clives for £29k was up for £20k 2 weeks ago so someone must have been to view it and not bought it

Every time someone views a car of his and doesn't buy it he then puts the price up £5-10k lol

I went to view his 9 mr Rs at £21k and then the day after it was £28k

If that's the one at Clive's performance then i wouldn't use that as a quide. It's suffering from rust issues, I was offered that for 10k this summer

If you look on the previous mot for that car it fails on rear chassis legs corroded then a few months later it passes at a different mot station with no advisories.

I've mine stored and I'm hoping it's worth it. I'd want 16k for mine ATM personally, rust free and forged engine.

I had a forged one about 8 years ago and paid £15k from Extreme for it. The plasterer then bought it off me for the same money

I think he did sell it a few years back, was very tidy when I owned it. Reg was V6 EXT or something

Iíve got a 6RS now that I wouldnít sell anyway but as people say each car is worth what it worth to someone who wants it

I donít know how youíd value the 6RS,to the right buyer it would be worth a lot more than to Joe Blogs

The Extreme will always hold a special place in my affections, partly because it was my first ever Evo.

But if one came up for sale right now the temptation to buy would be influenced by the presence and condition of all the things that were specific (unique) to the model. In particular this would include the Work Meister 18" wheels, front lip and sideskirts, Recaro seats, ideally the optional AP brake option, Extreme decals and the original red hard intake pipework.

Those things to me are what makes the Extreme different/special and with one of several of those missing or in a very poor state the car is probably not worth much more than a regular 6 GSR.

But with all of those things present and in good order, I'd be thinking £20k as a perfectly reasonable price
