Dials

Hi

My IV speedo is reading in kmh, I was going to purchase the Lockwood dials.
Looking at the picture on the website, which they state is the one you receive.
The numbers are the same except in mph. Surely the mile numbers would be in a different place.
Think I’m being dumb.

Here’s a link. It doesn’t say about calibrating the speedo drive

You also need a speedo convertor.
They're around £35 off ebay. 4 wires need connecting at the gearbox vicinity.
There's a wire that comes out of the gearbox that is the speed signal to the instruments.
This wire needs to be intercepted, using the convertor, so after cutting this wire... the convertor wires:
one convertor wire goes to gearbox, one to the instruments, one to +12V, one to ground.
I had mine fitted recently during a clutch change when the gearbox was off for the change.

Thank you for your in-depth and valuable information.
I shall check eBay and get one ordered.
Thanks again
Phil

From memory, I think the seller is "KBTV".
