Evo ix mr fq360

Hello everyone,
I may be selling my beloved Evo, but I'm not sure what the current market value is, as there is very little on the market to compare with. I was wondering if people would give me their honest views on value?

I have had her for 7 years.
It's a 2007 model EVO IX MR FQ360 by HKS
Gunmetal grey
29000 miles
7 owners including myself (I think, will have to check my v5 to make sure).
Full service history, serviced every 6 months regardless of how low the miles are between services.
Mix of ralliart dealers and evo specialists.
Modifications are HKS silent hi power exhaust and alloy wheels from the Evo VIII MR FQ400.

Bad points:
Small stonechip on windscreen
Very small patch of laquer discolouration on the side of front splitter near wheel arch
Small amount of Laquer peel on vortex generator and tiny laquer chip on carbon spoiler blade.
Usual small amount of stonechips on front bumper.

I'm only thinking of selling as I very rarely drive her. I tax her for 6 months of the year from April to September, only driving her to services, MOT and the occasional car show. Drive her on sunny days only but have been caught out by the rain a couple of times!

I sometimes feel that the car deserves to be driven more than I do, hence the thoughts about selling.

Thanks for taking the time to read.

I'd say you're looking at more like 25k- 30k for a grey IX MR with that low mileage.

I’d have thought about 22-23k it’s not a hks so not worth top top money. Sounds a nice car though. As everything just depends on the underside

There are two prices you'll be given...

People with an evo will say around £30k because it's collectable.

People without an evo will say around £14k because last year they sold theirs for £13k and it was minter than yours with lower miles

Sorry just scan read the title I would say closer to the 25-30k mark then depending on underside and what the minor repairs cost

There’s a grey IX MR on eBay for £26000 with 85k on the clock. Seems on the expensive side with that mileage. So 29k on the clock gotta be worth good money if it’s a good un.

It's over 10 years old and jdm bro, so is overpriced. A lot of them are.

What do you think people should be paying/asking for them then?

Depends. How much do you want one?

Not much point in telling somebody else something is overpriced, unless you have an interest in buying it and their advert is full of bull****. Even then, somebody with lower standards and money to burn might come along and be satisfied,

The usual something is worth what somebody else is prepared to pay applies. I've a long history of selling things and having people tell me what they think it's worth, and funnily enough they have been proven to be wrong 100% of the time, which is good news for me.

A lot of them around seem to be turds rolled in glitter with dealer prices. Some of them are just flat out dogs. The more **** around, the better position you are in if you have a good one I suppose.

As for the somewhat, less legitimate corner of the market.....dog turds polished with spit. These clowns bull**** people into buying crap cars all the time, and their prices aren't exactly cheap, but drug money needs laundered.

Clean cars can expect more, depends how high or low your standards are, and maybe how deep you are on the spectrum.

People see dealers selling them and there's a knock on effect to everyone who's selling one privately, oh well mines worth the same as them then. If they are of a similar standard, then perhaps that's justified.

A large number of private examples and even the dodgy dealers seem to include the usual recently under sealed, stunning condition, rare, dry stored, no expense spared, fully loaded, pulls like a train, previous female owner.

The thing is, people fall for it, which is their own fault for having little common sense. If you are naive, then you perhaps deserve to get burned, and if you dont learn as a result, then the pond life will stay in business for years to come.

If dealers really wanted to make money and had the capital to do so, lets say they could artificially inflate the market buy buying cars at ever increasing higher prices, slowly the market catches up, from turds to minters.

Similar things happen in the art market. Conglomerates splash out big style on an unknown artists ****, hold it long enough for the demand to go wild, then list it all for sale and cash in. Then the artist vanishes into the weeds and the process is repeated.

That's a lot of waffle, any of it makes sense? **** knows.
