Took it for a ride out and ended up pulling in to a cafe full of bikers, I was the only car in the car park!

After spending several weeks trying to resolve a squeaking noise that sounded like it was coming from the front drivers side wheel I finally tracked it down to the passenger side front wheel Fortunately it's a cheaper fix than a wheel bearing....

Spent the morning at CPP having a Fujitsubo exhaust fitted as well as a HKS RS hardpipe and mushroom filter fitted!

Exhaust is quieter than before but the engine noise is amazing with the new filter on!

Cheers lads!

Finally got the pole positions fitted on M2 seat rails. Saved 6kg per seat and the seating position is around an inch lower than the standard seats on lowering brackets. I think they look awesome as well.

Today I spent some time investigating the misfire that I had last time out in the car. In 3rd or above at anything over 1/4 throttle was causing a misfire and stuttering.
Found a slightly loose positive battery clamp on first look - sorted that with a shim on the battery terminal but it dint fix the issue.
On low throttle the car drove fine so I was thinking electrical rather than anything mechanical.
Took coil packs off in readiness to check the plugs and noticed melted plastic on the bottom of one coil pack and the spring that makes the connection to the plug was pushing out through the side where melted. The metal connection in the coil pack was blackened so I guess its been sparking up there quite a bit.
I had a new pair of coil packs with boots so fitted them and the car is running properly again.

Then gave it a quick wash
