Rare UK 52 plate EVO 6 RS2.
Car is now sold....
For sale is my Genuine UK EVO 6 RS2.
The car has covered just over 52 thousand miles from new.
Originally purchased by myself then sold and then modified for the new owner by MAD. I purchased the car back a few years ago but I'm just not getting the time to use it so its sat in my heated workshop which seems a waste so I'd like to find it a new caring owner.
The car was purchased from Mitsubishi Cirencester by myself back in 2002 and came with full warranty. It was dealer serviced from new and then specialist serviced from then on.
Standard features on the RS2 are as follows:
RS long box gearbox. (RS 1st, 2nd and third with GSR 4th and 5th for great acceleration and good top end).
Less sound deadening,
RS running gear (LSD front, centre and rear diff**no active yaw fitted**,
Stiffer she'll with more spot welds,
Basic interior trim spec,
No rear wash wipe,
Air conditioning rather than Climate control,
Faster ratio steering rack,
Front fog lights deleted,
Body colour mirrors.
The car was extensively modified by MA Developments and the mods are as follows:
Öhlins coil overs,
K-sport 8 pot 365 front brake kit.
K-Sport 6 pot 330 rear brake kit,
Team Dynamics 18 pro race alloys with Yokohama A048 tyres,
ETS intercooler and hard pipes,

Car is running an easy 1.7 bar and should be on or over 500 bhp.
Car comes supplied with harness bar and blue Sabelt aircraft buckle harnrsses(not fitted)
The catch is the engine is down on compression on cylinder no2. Car still runs and drives perfectly but a leak down test shows a 36% loss on cyl no2 so will require a rebuild/re-bore hence my low asking price.
Included in the sale is a brand new Long Rod conversion comprising of Bridgeway EPRI-Bean connecting Rods and oversize 86mm bore CP Pistons and rings worth £1100!
Car is priced at a ###sold### (Ten Thousand Pounds)firm. Obviously the car is worth more and I could break the car for a lot more but I feel that the lower asking price allows the buyer to afford the required engine build and hopefully stops the car from being broken for spares. If I re-build the engine I'll not want to sell it and I'll still not use it! Lol
