Spoiler less

Removed the rear spoiler as it was very tatty, once off discovered the base of the spoiler is rotten so not sure if itís worth getting painted and refitted? Iím tempted to go the carbon spoiler look ?

The car asit stands now

I already have this carbon spoiler but Iím not sure about fitting it as I donít like how the brackets are in the middle of the boot lid, does it look ok or should I buy a proper one that fits on the edges ofhe boot?

Can you not make some new brackets for the original spoiler?

Looks cool with no spoiler but I know what you mean, the carbon fibre uprights should be wider than the one you have and it would look abit better

Personally on your car that looks like it already has some carbon non-OEM bits and areas of paint that need touching up I'd treat the metal fill the holes get it resprayed and fit that spoiler which will look cool and suit your car.

A friend has offered me his carbon spoiler for £400 but it’s a huge track spoiler so I’m going to see what it looks like resting on my car at TOTB and make my decision then,

I even have a copy voltex type 5 spoiler saved in my basket on ebay which is £500 delivered plus any import duty. So I’m just going to take my time and decide what to do?

Im picking the original spoiler up from the body shop tomorrow, the car has had no spoiler on for a while and the carbon version I have doesn’t look good so I got mine painted.

Hopefully it has a good paint match when I fit it tomorrow

They have minor scratches on them so instead of getting them painted I got them wrapped in carbon but Iím not too keen on it. I will probably get them sorted over the winter?
