You need to brush up on your googling skills.

Or better still, go get yourself a stock knock sensor from an evo and do some testing with your own hands and an oscilloscope.

Right....so back to the original problem.
There isn't one apart from the dyno which reads too high for the stock injectors that you're running.

But.

The cams are probably "out".
You don't know what the CR is.

Right, right, right, and right again. You have only some practical skills apparently and zero theory. You don't understand the basic underlying physics behind the engines you are playing with. What is really hilarious is that vid is showing exactly what I described lol. But hey ho. You at the only person in the world who knows it all about everything Evo.
I am sure you know intimately what a CR is and are rearing to go to fully explain to everybody .
You need to put in some hours into your YouTube browsing skills .

When you come to have it mapped here in U.K. Be mindful that quite a few tuners do Duno Queen tunes which are fine in U.K. for street driving but will spectacularly fail on say track day use or Autobahn driving - have a search through German Evo forums .

Each year I take my car back to the UK for servicing, MOT, new work that I need and often a remap afterwards; it's a nice drive back from the Alsace region.

I use Bob at Dynotech for all my work and then have Lee5 map her and everything seems to work absolutely spot on. They're based in Kent so very convenient to get to once you come over on the Eurotunnel...

Another alternative is that my friend who lives around the corner from me has his 9 mapped by a guy who used to map Tommi's car back in the day(!!!), he's based in Strasbourg and (if you can get hold of him) will road map your car.

I spent roughly half a day with him the last time he came down and my friends car goes so well and so strong. If you're interested I could perhaps get you his contact info however you'd need to get all the work done first of course..?

Simon Norris from Norris Designs and Gary from APT seem to have the best rep as far as I can tell. Ant from IGT specialises in X's and SST boxes mapping. Any does real a lot to map cars - holidays for free

Best thread I've read in ages........

I had to laugh at some of the comments, some people just don't have a clue.

I know in both your opinions there's some major BS on this thread.

But it would be nice if you would both contribute to it and point out your views to the OP? It would be nice to hear opinions . You both have experience on the matter .

That's a lot of power on stock injectors and at that boost, so personally I'd be very happy with it rather than worrying too much about it.
If you really want to analyse things then you will need to provide a lot more information, as Clive has suggested.
I have to say that after seeing a lot of ECUs tuned on stock Knock sensor, I still can't believe how wrong people get it, especially when the data is out there (like in that YouTube video!)
No wonder we see so many issues with highly strung cars!
