The 255 is enough for the power you'll achieve (380 max, but probably less).

long term plan is to do all stage one mods to get to 400BHP or just over, from what you guys have said a previous owner will have upgraded the pump to the 255.

The Mrs bought me a 400 for my birthday and i have just got a 2nd hand pump carrier to fit it in to. With this a 3 port and a remap i might be able to get closer to the magic 400bhp :-D

You will need more than just a pump to make 400 on a stock E8 300.
To hit 400bhp you need.....

Downpipe

Pipework if you don't have metal already

Cams or a 10.5t turbo

Remapped to around 1.7 bar.

The injectors will also be right up on thier limts

Getting that last 40bhp costs money assuming that the engine is in good condition that is.

I'd wouldn't chase numbers. Custom made map with early boost sustained through rev range but not making the magic 400 is FAAR better than a dunk queen map getting you your 400 but the map looks like a mountain range lol. Custom map will also by much quicker than peak figures dyno Queen one.
