I’ve got a connect lwb on a 65 plate. It’s got everything in it. Nice to drive and all the creature comforts. Been reliable but the rear parking sensors need sorting after a valet!!!
And the air con needs a service. Biggest issue for me is the 1.6 lump just doesn’t seem to have the go despite 115bhp. But a nice van to go to work in and looks the business. |

So I guess the rear space is as long as a Transit Custom SWB but not as much height?

Done some digging. The Caddy Maxi has a load length of 2250mm and a SWB Transit is 2500mm . So 250mm difference which is bog all.. height is obviously a lot different (1m extra on Transit) but it comes at a cost of 2500 grand for an equivalent mileage/age van . Only advantage I guess with the Transit is I can build a shelf midway for double the loading area..
Anyway food for thought |

They are basic to be fair. But in all honesty it’s a work van, I don’t do huge mileage so it’s literally a work horse .
I thought Evos were stressful ![]() |

Heya Mita I use a transit connect as my spare vehicle it's a ex BT van so had full service history and runs sweet for a 2012 with 91000 on it would definitely recommend 😊

It takes full 3m pipes with a front hatch in the bulk head. But unlike the custom you have to fold the front passenger seat down. It’s also supposed to be 3 seats but I wouldn’t try it Last edited by tracker; 14-01-2021 at 17:08.. |
