Evo IV GSR - standard and unmodified

Hello everyone,

After 18 months happy ownership, my IV is up for sale.

Its in excellent condition – Autotorque have serviced it while I've owned it, and its had a fair bit of work while I've owned it. I was keen to experience it as standard, so I've done a lot to take it back to how it might have been when it was first built. Big stuff includes new cam belt, clutch and brakes.

There is no rust; Autotorque did their full underbody strip and re-seal, with chassis legs cavity-waxed. Mechanically the car is standard, apart from an after-market mongoose exhaust.

The car has spent most of its life in the UK on a set of HSD coil-overs; as part of the suspension re-build its original springs and dampers were re-fitted. The coil-overs are also included in the sale.

The interior is in similarly good condition, with only slight wear to the driver’s seat bolster.

The car has lots of paperwork, from me and its previous owners; below is a summary of the key things done since I’ve owned it.

Finally, it is also featured in this month’s Octane Magazine as part of a triple test against a similar era Celica and Impreza. Worth a read!

Key info:

• Imported in 2006 with 50000 kilometres
• Converted to miles on import; now reads 85000 – total mileage 65000
• MOT until May 2020; no advisories
• Immobiliser with two keys/fobs

Work done during current ownership:

• May 2019 – full service/MOT, new clutch, lightweight flywheel
• January 2019 – bumper respray and full detail
• November 2018 - new discs and pads all round; calliper re-furb
• October 2018 – full underbody treatment and cavity wax
• September 2018 – full service
• July 2018 – Gear linkage upgrade
• May 2018 - MOT
• March 2018 – suspension service: most bushes replaced; new drop-links, ball joints, tie rods; new diff bushes; full 4-wheel alignment
• November 2017 – full service, including cambelt; wheel re-furb

I'm finding it difficult to price, but it is up for £7950 at the moment, but am open to sensible offers.

I'm based in Newbury, Berkshire.

Cheers!
