X caliper respray

Calipers on my X are starting to look abit dull and worn down so plan to get then done but dont really want to pay the amount im been quoted!

I know alot of people say they have to be powder coated but seeing quite a few diy resprays on youtube , im wondering if anyone has attempted this and have the results lasted?

I did my rears in Halfords red calliper paint. Might be a shade lighter than OE but looks goos enough, minus the decals. Could get some vinyls and VHT clear to go over the top of it with? And worst case you’ll be paying for a refurb anyway?
I did a thread a few years back where I stripped and painted mine grey, might be worth a look

Try Ian Godney / Godspeed for your refurb maybe? That seems a lot from BCS. But my post above wasn't about a refurb just a DIY painting kit as per the OP.

that quote looks like it's for a full rebuild, for a repaint (what the op is after) it's £315 and like I said they usually have deals up to 60% off
