Will that also require head work, Ti springs, retainers, etc for the cams or can they be run on stock head internals?
Can assume the clutch will want a twin plating as well...

Spot on Charlie!

Sybez - No it will not need porting, with a head job the power spread will be better but those figures can be achieved with no porting. The valve springs are a must though, Ti retainers are optional. No you DO NOT need a twin plate, I run my E9 RS on a single plate and have done for the whole time I have used it. (625Hp on pump gas and 750Hp on race gas).

Cheers

Si

None, the deal strengthens the engine, it doesn't give it more power. However you could safely increase the power after, with a different turbo etc .

Mark the cost of the rod job + some S1 cams and a 9 turbo off Si should see you in the region of around 420-440 ATF . Cost is approx £3k with remap inc i'd say ....

Si & team will defo see you right top bloke to deal with an a wealth of experience with a nothing too much trouble attidude which goes along way

Si,

I'm very interested in having this done in the not too distant future, one thing that I would like to know is, how much would it cost if you opened up my motor and found that the pistons or whatever had too much wear to proceed?

I can appreciate that you wouldn't open my motor up and slap in new rods if something didn't look right, and knowing my luck..........
