(Evo X) Which BOV

Looking for BOV but don' know which one. I have ETS induction so not sure if any BOV will fit because of limited space, something like Turbosmart Smart Port Dual Port size will fit.

A friend had one of those turbosmart dual piston ones and it got stuck, which resulted in a major leak..

Changing the BOV is pointless, all you're going to get is crap part-throttle behaviour. But if your car going "ptshhh" when you change gear is that important to you, then have at it

Question: if aftermarket bov is so bad, why people still buying them, fitting them in race/rally cars???

Ed Sheeran is **** but people are still buying his records

Proper rally cars are more likely to not have a BOV at all. Your car already has a BOV, a well-designed one that matches the engine. There is no benefit to changing it at all, aftermarket dump values add nothing of value and are generic bits of tat made in China for 2p. The chances of it performing as well as the one crafted by the manufacturer of your car is zero.

If you can't actually name a benefit of fitting something and your only reasons for doing so are;

a) other people do it
b) race car

then I'd probably do a bit more research. waits for someone to post about high boost engines or some other straw-man cr*p just because they want to say I'm wrong
