Mitsu parts soooo expenisve!!!

Hi guys,

Wanna get some feedback and/or advice from anyone in the know...

I got a quote from Mitsu for standard turbo nuts, bolts and washers which came to £90 for a set of nine!!! I was fink £35-£45 tops!

Then I ask for the plastic "arrow" screws which hold the undertry in place and they're £2.51 EACH!

Someone tell me they have me on, or they're prices are that crazy?

And finally anyone know where I could but these parts from besides Mitsu?

Thx!

This is why you don't buy from mitsi There are loads of traders on here that will sort you out for a fraction of the cost

i find they can be very expensive for the little things, like nuts n bolts but sometimes i have had stuff cheaper or at least the same price. its just same as, always do ya homework and get numerous prices!

The nuts and washers on the turbo arent your common garden type, they are specially made for the job and the temperatures that they are going to be operating in.

Thats why so many Evo's get written off by insurance company's. Because the repair bill from mitsi is ridiculous!!

I got a price off them for 1 X plastic intercooler spray nozzle for an Evo 8... £47 + vat.

The local Mitsubishi dealer that I use doesn't even use OE parts, they are more than happy to go after market to keep cost down. They wouldn't get the business otherwise

13p if you're trade. Mercedes charge nearly £4 each for the exact same clips.
