Hopefully we will need it to hide from the sun rather then the rain this time.

Bit more info from the Events Team:

We are very much looking forward to welcoming you to Simply Japanese this Sunday at the National Motor Museum.

Entry with your Japanese vehicle is from 8:30am – the Brabazon Restaurant will be open for bacon rolls, cakes, teas and coffee. Please ensure that you have printed your e-ticket as this will make entry quicker and easier for all participants.

Please note: A second entrance will be open in the morning to ease traffic flow. This entrance is located off the B3054, Palace Lane. The directional signs for here will read "Simply Japanese - Additional Entrance - AM Only". We advise turning off satnavs once you see the blue Simply Japanese event signs.

Please remember that if you wish to park up alongside your friends, you must all arrive together with individual e-tickets as we are unable to reserve adjacent spaces for later arrivals.

We ask that you please drive carefully and responsibly both on our roads and when exiting onto the highway. The police monitor our Simply events carefully. Please also be aware of free-roaming animals and cyclists on the roads. Due to the close proximity of our neighbours, please be respectful when entering and leaving the event.

We look forward to seeing you on Sunday and hope you enjoy the event!

Hi Ian
Apologies but we won’t be able to make it to the show now. Something has come up at work that’s changed my weekend plans.

I do however have 4 tickets going spare if anyone wants them.

I just treated mine to a wash and wax.

What it came odd when you cleaned it?
I cracked the lancer badge off mine once drying it. Just glued it back on with double sided gel trim tape.

I know it looks bad but it's just a badge mate. It will glue back on or that paint can be cut back for you to de-badge or replace it.

For now I'd stick it back on with some PVA (white glue dries clear) hide the damage and sort it out later.

Rest of the paint looks nice though. See you Sunday

Polished, washed and waxed the whole car. And I had those horrible flakey rear badges fro the previous owners paint attempt so I was like I'll just whip them off. Just didn't intend on taking half the boot paint with it. Just gonna leave it for now as it will force me to fix sooner. Also loving the debadge look.

For any of you intending to take your Gas Stoves tomorrow.

I have just got off the phone to Beaulieu & they have said that Gas Stoves are NOT allowed at this event
We're taking a flask of hot water for drinks in the morning/pastries. Not decided on lunch yet

No GAS BBQs. Doesn't say we can't dig a hole and make a fire pit
