Evo 6 Rs2 400 HP

Hello Gentlemen,

Hope everyone is doing well despite this **** virus

I have an Evo 6 RS2 and would like to upgrade to 400 HP, could you give me some info on the parts to replace?

The chassis is already ready with Ohlins and evo 10 brakes on bowls
Anti roll bar etc.

Thanks

Assuming your car is factory stock, for 400bhp you'd need

80 series turbo, from an evo 9
Walbro 255 fuel pump
3 port boost solenoid
Decat
3" exhaust turbo back

Controversial maybe. But I wouldn’t be pushing an Evo these days without forging by a reputable builder and mapper. But that’s just me

I agree. It seems it’s proven that 400bhp on Evo 6 engine is asking for trouble.

I wouldn’t recommend anything over 360hp and 360ftlb without a engine rebuild on a Evo6.

Is your goal 400bhp or 400awhp? My 6 GSR is currently around 405bhp, stock engine, 6RS turbo, 270 Tomei cams, DW301 fuel pump, HKS intercooler, intake, downpipe, & exhaust. Aggressively tuned at 1.6bar (98RON fuel).
