[Evo X] FQ-400 CF Vortex Generator

Hey all I'm new to the club! Bought my X a few months ago, will post some pics when I get a chance .

Just bought a carbon fibre VG from my X and it doesn't come with any fitment or installation instructions.

It's this one - http://www.rosssport.com/Brands/EVO-...-FQ400X400-VG1

I've heard very mixed reviews about using 3M Tape but some say you can get heavier duty ones which do the job. Others say to use something like Gorilla Glue which I'm not too keen on but will use if it's the best option.

Does anyone know what is best to use?
Thanks all!

Hi,

Welcome to the MLR

On my 9 I used double sided sticky tape and it blew off, I used tiger seal in the end and it was great, no issues after that.

Thanks Rich!

I've just bought some Tiger Seal, the fit isn't quite right on it so. The length is a bit too rounded for the roof so hopefully the tiger seal will adhere it into place.
