Haha yeah, I think I will definitely be driving mine hard, but servicing it harder (if that's the way to say it ) I've always taken good care of my cars, and fingers crossed, touch wood, they've usually been pretty good to me!

Got at least one thing ticked off of my to do list today! The bonnet grill/mesh, it turned out quite well , but I will definitely redo it in the future with a sand blasting cabinet etc, but the rubber seals on top are marked quite bad from where the previous owner in Japan has done a similar thing to me!

Still waiting on my Karcher to return from Warranty so I can't even wash the car yet

That really improves the car, makes it look really tidy.
You must be pleased with the results

Thanks man! Yeah it is the little things which just improve the car overall! Get the headlights restored and then eventually the mesh behind the bumper and the front end should be looking tidy!

On fire up on this forum at the moment

Resprayed the exhaust manifold heatshield today, turned out quite well , but I will have to replace it soon as the metal has crinkled a bit, and the bolt holes have some serious surface rust!

Also had a mini panic, some WD40 had dripped off of the bolt onto the manifold which I forgot about so when I fired the car up a bit of smoke started coming out from under the shield until I remembered about the WD40

Manifold is looking a bit sorry for itself, but it's still going strong

Only the best for my Evo

That's probably going to be all the updates till next week as I am working now until Tuesday!

Yeah, they look great for like 30 minutes work, I'm tempted to try get to the lower heat shield on the exhaust but I think there may be a bolt you have to get to underneath!

Thanks mate! Yeah I was shocked at how easy it is, plus the stove paint is very forgiving I'm going to try do the lower portion of the heatshield too!

Thanks man Haha, my job is quite a special one, more the fact I seem to be on less than everyone else around me, but I do more hours, like this week already, I've done 63 hours, and I'm doing a 20 hour day today! **** me right?
