Ok, all you need to do is bridge pins 1 & 4 on the OBD port with a paper clip and count the number of flashes - Long flashes are 10's and short flashes are 1's.

The OBD port is located under the dash, drivers side footwell.

Easy enough to do mate, 5 min job

Need anymore help, just ask

right iv bridged pins 1&4 and seen it flashing long and short, will this eventually stop, or will it continue to flash, and also is the snow,gravel and tarmac lights suppose to flash with the abs light, im quite puzzled by this,
thanks

you have to count the flashes for the code number,

long flash is a 10,and short flash is a single number,add them together for the code number,

ie/4x long flash and 3x short flash will be code 43,

switch ign on but do not start and the engine light will flash out the codes on the dash clocks ,
long flashes = tens ,
short = units ,
so 2 long and 3 short = code 23

short steady flashes = no codes

to clear the the codes undo the Negative battery terminal for a few mins
and all code should be clear unless the fault is still there etc

have look here at the link not a Mitsubishi but you get the point of flashing
