isle of man trip 2011 7-th -9th or 10th october

hi all

ive been chatting to a friend from the focus st owners club that's organized this trip and asked if they would have any objections to myself and a few other evo's coming along and he's said he's not bothered what he's chasing as long as the drivings good!! and the numbers aren't to high!

so who's up for it??

ive done the iom trip with these guys for the last 3 years and they are a great bunch.

Isle of Man trip 2011 ~ Friday 7th October
(The date was chosen as Sept is fully booked with weddings)

ALL WELCOME

Annual Isle of Man weekend with a 2 or 3 night stay option
with the help and support of Isle of Man resident & club member Alan (maxel)

Meet prior to departure at Lancaster Services M6 - 12:00

Meet the other group members during the crossing and soak up the enthusiasm from previous trips

CROSSINGS

Outbound

Friday 7th Oct departing 2.15pm from Heysham to IOM.

Inbound

2 night stay
Sunday 9th Oct departing from IOM~Heysham 19:45

3 night stay
Monday 10th Oct departing IOM~Liverpool 15:00
Monday 10th Oct departing IOM~Heysham 19:45


ACCOMODATION

The Mount Murray Hotel, Santon. http://www.mountmurray.com/
Tried & tested on previous trips

It is a 4 star, bed & breakfast with ample private parking
It also has a Bar, Gym, Pool
Bars & Restaurants

THE COSTS

2 people with Ferry 2 nights accommodation ~ £313
2 people with Ferry 3 nights accommodation ~ £393
1 person with Ferry 2 nights accommodation ~ £254
1 person with Ferry 3 nights accommodation ~ £322

(costs are lower than 2010)

BOOKINGS

10 double & 10 twin rooms have been reserved for us.

All Bookings are made individually through Steam Packet Company Contact Charlie Bevan on 01624 645777 up to 1PM Daily but of the booking office staff will be able to assist with booking. A deposit of £40/Adult is payable to secure your places, you can pay in full if you wish. The balance will be due by 6 weeks before departure.
The booking made under the name of "Ford Focus Enthusiasts" so you need to mention this when booking to make sure you are allocated with the club.

AGENDA

There is no agenda for the weekend just a relaxed go with the flow style
The main reason we are going is the great driving, the world famous TT Circuit being the main attraction~spirited driving on superb roads
We will weather permitting be making a vist to the Go Karting Duke Karting

Open for all to attend

Are the 10 double rooms reserved for MLR or both forums? Just got to persuade her (may take some time ) as we will have just got back from our hols.

hi mate

the rooms are reserved for both forums and maybe also the rs owners club too. we have gone over this number a couple of years its just a chance you take the later you leave it to book unfortunately.

you could always give them a call and check on availability.

as of yet confirmed are 5 st's and 1 evo and meeting another 4 local st's over there.

i hope you can make it.

which prices are you looking at lol. if you take a passenger it £200 each for 3 night then petrol and beer token and dinner and tea. (bargain)!!!!

well guys ive just been out in the magazine featured, nos powered st thats coming along on this trip and id say its a very fast car!!! till his bottle is empty anyway lol.
