Thumbs up FPV Qaudcopter Cotehele Playgound

Hi All,

Here is a few FPV flight I got to do after work one day. CamSump and I ventured off to Cotehele in Calstock, Cornwall. Its a beautiful house and grounds but we did not pay to enter the grounds as it was about to close as we arrived.

It was very wind on this day which made me nervous flying too close to the water and made the quad shake in the gusts, so when I was presented with the open field with playground then it was game on for some speed instead. I had not changed the angle of the camera before the flight which is why most of the footage was unuseable because when I accelerate all you can see is the ground.

Took some footage of the fishing tournament launch yesterday... even got CAA permission to launch/land from the helipad, which was nice...

Anyone know anywhere in the UK stocking the Zenmuse H3-3D gimbal as a standalone?

Yeah, there is no real regulation here yet but it's on the verge of coming (CAA/government/defense meetings etc. been happening), but we're trying to do things right as we aim to offer commercial services asap.

Had a weird one with the filming yesterday when another operator's drone (who didn't bother getting permission) seemed to interfere with our craft (he was flying from one of the boats at the back). Sent the gimbal crazy and knocked out FPV until we had to rise and back away (hence boat shots are from so far away) But lesson learnt, in future tell anyone else to **** off unless they provide a letter of authorisation!

Recording a lap of the new circuit made me realise how much we need a 3 axis gimbal over our current 2-axis hence search for a supplier -

Especially with the Top Gear Festival now just around the corner...
