ive known Daz a fair few years, from when he was at nobles, he's tuned numerous cars for mates and family and my own, if i didnt trust his work i wouldnt have used him. but thanks for the concern with regards northys car issues, i was aware of it tho

so, back onto MY question, could my blowing elbow and high intake temps due to poor coolin contribute to the low torque figures?

what intercooler is on your car
any leak will cause a problem
and high intake temp will result in less power all round

spec is as follows:

Evo 8 FQ 340 MR Engine
Evo 8 MR 10.5T Turbo
Evo 6 mapped ECU
Evo 6 Injectors
Kelford 264 Cams & 3mm lash adjusters
2 Stage Switchable Map
Japspeed Turbo Elbow And Full 3" Exhaust
Japspeed Uprated Radiator / Air Guide Plate
Walbro 255 Fuel Pump
3 Port Boost Solenoid
Battery Relocation Kit To Boot
NeverNeverMan Oil Catch Tank
NeverNeverMan 3" Inlet + K & N Filter
Uprated Recirc Valve
Autobarn 88 Front Mount Intercooler And Pipe Kit
Cam Sensor/Heatshield And Coilpacks From Rosssport
Magnecor 8.5mm Plug Leads
Intake Charge Temperature Sensor & Display
Aztec Perfoemance forged lightweight flywheel
Exedy Organic clutch

the exhaust seems to be blowing on the joint between the turbo and the elbow, only noticed it sunday evening and not had chance to sort it before todays power run, my concern was the intake temps while on the rollers, as when ive driven hard on the road i rarely see over 30/35, yet today on the rollers it hit 48 by the end of the run! he sprayed the cooler and intake pipes before the run aswell but the cooling fan wasnt the best :/

maybe the intercooler isnt doing its job well enough
it may have the boost reading but it might not be flowing the cool air needed
i say this because i had the same issue plenty of boost but intercooler was holding it all up at 450 changed the cooler and made the pipes flew 520bhp safe map
maybe you could try and measure the air flow
the poor fan wont help either and the intercooler may need to cool down after each dyno pull
check the drivers side of the inter cooler see how hot it gets and how long it takes to cool down
just a suggestion
has it still got a cat ? if so this will hold it up
are evo 6 injectors the same as evo 8 560cc?

Hp is within a couple of any other dyno ive used.
The torque on the Maha dyno at Nobles is always lower than DD rollers.
Good results though, must go well in the iv

The AB intercooler is more than likely where you're having problems..........mine's now on the garage floor after I recorded temps significantly worse than the standard item.

How are you measuring the temps?

Wondered when I would get mentioned

In fairness, my DWR map on my 7 before I tore it to bits was spot on. Maha dyno did read lower than when it went to monster Motorsport (Dyno Dynamics)

I'd say intercooler is to blame though

What torque did your standard E5 engine and turbo with just a remap read on Nobles Chaz?

Dude I remember!!! It was a mental 405lb/ft on a stock 5 engine, stock 5 turbo, stock 5 cams, stock intercooler etc! It bloody flew that silver 5!! Lived like that for 4 years before it popped. Literally only had rodbolts and ACL bearings done at MG and some AndyF magic with the laptop.

Spot on was that dude!!
