Unhappy So frustrated please help!

So, I can't get the gas tank door to open, I've pulled the latch about 6 times, not hearing anything catch to open it. Does anyone know what the problem could be and how do I get it open with the latch not working?

I currently have same issue with my VIII as the clips fallen off. I pull lever up inside the car and use a tightly rolled microfibre cloth to wedge under it ( to keep lever up ) then using a plastic credit card ( without raised numbers ) give it a wiggle inside the gap on the side when the lock bit would be and with a bit of luck and wiggle you should be able to pop it open.

Then get the clip looked at ( on my list of jobs! )

Hopefully this may work for you

You can reach the back of the latch from inside the boot, just pull the boot trim away and you’ll find the cable 😁.
