Demon Tweeks (review)

Thought I'd write a quick review of my experience with Demon Tweeks this month.

Ordered a Walbro for the VII on the 1st September.

Was advised 4-6 business days for delivery to Ireland. So expected the pump buy the 9th. Sent an email on the evening of the 9th - no reply.

Called on the 11th and was advised to wait a 'few more days'.

Called on the 16th as still no pump. Was advised I had to wait until the 1st October before Demon Tweeks would lodge a claim with the courier. They couldn't tell me which courier and they didn't know if the pump would be delivered (the rep said it was probably 'missing' as the shipment wasn't tracked). Clearly as the pump hadn't arrived by the 16th it wasn't going to arrive.
I had to open a Paypal dispute to get my money back.

Absolute shít service will never use again.

It appears I am not the only one:

Apparently shít company to work for too:

sorry to hear of your bad experience

I have dealt with Demon Tweeks on many occasions and honestly couldn't fault them

Same here ordered Gopros, seats, coilovers, diffs, oil coolers, silicone pipes and most things in between from demon tweeks. Always use them because I no I'll get the parts within a few days

I had used them a lot in the past and all was fine.

This is the second time since June I've had a problem with them.

Think I'm more annoyed with the inept reps I spoke with over the phone. They were abysmal.

The pump still hasn't arrived and is unlikely to.

The P&P was significantly less than the traders on here (I guess now I know why)

Maybe it just me but now I have had an issue with Blackcircles.

Ordered 2 tyres on the 18th Sept for delivery (to partner fitter) for the 28th.

Get an email Friday evening at 17:27 (they close at 17:30) stating there is a delay and the earliest now will be the 5th October!

If it's just me - thats fine but I think that is an absolute disgrace. If I offer a service I fulfill that service and if there is a delay I inform my client in a timely manner, it's professional courtesy and respect for the clients time and other engagements.

I don't know. Maybe this is now acceptable

Personally I would fully agree with your comments and expectations but I do think these days that some things are deemed acceptable that wouldn't have been previously which is a shame...............I think to some degree, the online world is a little different to the one before it............-)
So for those of us in our Nineties it can be frustrating.........Lol
