Kenny, put your wooden spoon away
![]() For me, yesterday was a great end to a brilliant season. Many thanks to Phil trusting me with his baby and thanks to Nick, Eddie and Jonny from NR for the hard work and support all year. I'll do a season review in the near future. Thanks for all the congrats on here. Last edited by KNOXVILLE; 26-09-2011 at 06:50.. |

Gav stop being paranoid. The live timing link wasn't working at all and as usual we had no idea what times you were all doing. I genuinely thought you might have done it on that last lap as you were flying. Had a great day and it was the best ta event I had been to yet. Chill out a bit mate. You did well and I was the first to congratulate Plip after your banker. Roll on next year. Should be great.

All banter aside, Plip and Gav had a fantastic season. I couldn't have tried harder to try and keep the orange car running all day just to see what Gareth could manage on those tyres. He said they aren't as bad as people make out. He thinks a 1 min 13 was possible. ![]() But I guess we will never know ![]() Quote:
What an awesome weekend of motorsport. Feeling it now, not enough sleep and 700 miles of driving take their toll. |

although it would of been interesting to see what the orange car 'could' of done, it doesn't takes a rocket scientist to see what kind of development has gone into that car. The chassis work/development alone is quite extensive. But this should take nothing away from plips team. Fantastic result, and a great achievement to win a series!
Well done to all involved ![]() ![]()

As a side note did anyone pick up on the time posted by Rob Huff in the Sumo drift car? In full drift spec having just won the overall drift championship it went out and did a 1.17! With 450bhp!!!

It had never run road tyres like that and the tyres were brand new at the start of practice. They didn't adjust any of the coilover settings as they were too busy fixing niggling little breakages. |

The car was a sub 1 minute car around Tsukuba, in Time Attack form, before it was set up for drifting!
