S90 70mm Throttle Body
I've test fitted mine to my unmodified intake manifold to sort out getting rid of all the EGR and EVAP crap and the associated fault codes that get thrown up with standard engine management. (basically all the pipes from the standard throttle body are now gone along with 3 solinoids and some brackets. I've looped the water pipes that were related to EGR and originally attached to the standard throttle body.
It went quite ok but for those with standard ECU's do not forget the park the stepper motor (you can use Evoscan) and adjust the BISS to desired idle, then un-park the stepper switch off, disconnect battery and go through the learn idle routine for the ICSV. The throttle movement seemed a little stiff at first but you soon get used to it. I'm going to swap it out onto the modified and port matched standard intake manifold that i have ready to go on next week. *tip don't forget the little rubber O'ring seal for the S90 BISS *tip check the ICSV has a good seal, don't for get the O'ring from the standard throttle body *tip you will need a EGR blanking plate and two shorter bolts if you have EGR to remove. All the Stock ECU related stuff for disabling EGR and EVAP can be found here http://forums.evolutionm.net/ecuflas...solenoids.html It's also a good idea to reduce your rev limit to say 6krpm while you test it out and check for leaks. ![]() I did need to slightly tweak the ignition advance and add a tadge of fuel around idle. ![]() Andy
