Yeah hopefully it will last a bit longer now I've done this.
First lap round knockhill and it's on its roof I will be crying

Hey Buddy Got a blue evo ix fq320 and i did exactly the same as you last year 12 months it took me + blood and sweat but well worth it in the end
Go to all the car shows now everyone loves it
Good luck with yours looks great get a few more pis up

That looks great. Well done. I need to get mine done this. What you doing with the engine bay.
Did you have any corrosion there?

I had slight rust on the chassis leg where paint had been chipped so thought bugger it just blast it while I'm at it .
Hopefully get paint to match original colour of car .
The wax / wheel arch reinforcement (W.A.R ) that I used on the underside has dried and is really scratch resistant but isn't quite a colour match which is a bit disappointing not sure whether to put it black now or just leave it blue

No corrision in the engine bay but i took the engine out etc including the windscreens and everything got cleaned bank primer,topcoat and lacquered

Cheers I used Jotamastic 87 its used as a marine grade primer direct to metal Anticorrosive coating
Not many people have heard of it then you can top coat over this and lacquer as usual

If i were you i would keep the blue Black is just nasty looking
